Entry requirements to Hong Kong

With effect from 29 December 2022, entry to Hong Kong for persons arriving from places outside China is possible for non-Hong Kong residents who have been fully vaccinated and hold a vaccination record. The EU Digital COVID Certificate and the Swiss COVID-19 certificate (on paper and on the COVID-19 App) are accepted in Hong Kong. Please find the list of recognised vaccines here. The vaccination requirement does not apply to non-Hong Kong residents aged below 12 on the day of arrival at Hong Kong. For Hong Kong residents, the vaccination requirement is lifted.

For all inbound persons aged three or above, a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) (self-administered or by professional swab sampling) conducted within 24 hours or a PCR-based nucleic acid test conducted within 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure with a negative result is required. The photo showing the RAT result or the test report should be retained for 90 days. The test result may also be declared via the voluntary electronic Health Declaration Form. With effect from 1 June 2022, passengers transferring or transiting in Hong Kong do not need to present a negative test result.
