香港駐柏林經濟貿易辦事處處長司徒加敏在五月八日（卡托維兹時間）第十六屆歐洲經濟大會的專題研討會中發言。

香港駐柏林經濟貿易辦事處（駐柏林經貿辦）參與五月七日至九日（卡托維兹時間）在波蘭卡托維兹舉行的第十六屆歐洲經濟大會。歐洲經濟大會由PTWP集團舉辦，是中歐最大型的商務活動，提供平台予決策者、企業家、行業專家、學者和其他持分者議論多項社經議題。
駐柏林經貿辦處長司徒加敏與波蘭政府、商界和智庫的代表在專題研討會進行討論。她強調香港作為內地與全球之間的門戶，具有獨特優勢和定位，可為歐洲商界在內地和亞洲市場開拓機遇。
司徒加敏指出：「香港作為國際金融中心及貿易、航運和物流樞紐，對企業而言，仍是把握龐大機遇打進區內市場，尤其是快速增長的粵港澳大灣區的理想地點。」
司徒加敏闡述政府吸引各地人才和企業來港的最新發展和舉措，她亦分享近期香港經濟表現正面。她說：「儘管全球經濟不明朗，香港經濟在二○二三年強勢復蘇，本地生產總值增長3.2%。我們預計二○二四年本地生產總值會增長2.5%至3.5%。」
