Hong Kong as a Gatewa
On 12 January 2017, HKETO Berlin organised a business seminar on the Belt and Road Initiative in Budapest. Some 50 participants from the relevant government authorities, local chamber of commerce and individual businesses participated in the seminar. Participants actively exchanged views on the business opportunities from the Belt and Road Initiative and the support provided by the HKSAR Government. Success stories were shared to testify the unique role of Hong Kong as a springboard for Hungarian businesses to leap into the bigger Chinese or even Asian markets.
