China-Hong Kong-Poland Conference
Collaboration on Professional Services
On 26 October 2016, HKETO Berlin organised a seminar with the Law Society of Hong Kong, Polish Chamber of Commerce, and Polish National Bar of Attorneys to explore how Polish investors and companies could make use of the world class legal services provided by Hong Kong in advancing their investment and businesses to Mainland China, especially under the Belt and Road Initiative. Almost 100 professionals from the legal sector were briefed about the opportunities that Hong Kong offered for the Polish professional service sector, especially the benefits conferred by the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement. A memorandum of understanding between the two law associations was also signed to strengthen co-operation.
