The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Berlin (HKETO Berlin) uses the social networks of LinkedIn and Facebook.
The HKETO Berlin has no influence on whether or what data is collected by social networks and how this data is used. We are unable to identify how much, where and for how long data is stored, to what extent the networks adhere to requirements to delete data, how the data is evaluated and linked, and to whom the data is forwarded.
We therefore ask you to check carefully which personal data you make available to the social networks when you use our site. If you do not want social networks to receive your personal data via your communication on our website, you should contact us in another way, for example through our contact form.

Please be assured that all contact details we collected are stored properly and securely in our database. These personal data are used strictly for the purposes they collected and in accordance with applicable personal data regulations.

For our website to function properly we use cookies. To obtain your valid consent for the use and storage of cookies in the browser you use to access our website and to properly document this we use a consent management platform: CookieFirst. Our website and CookieFirst automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The following data is collected:

- The date and time you have visited our website
- The webpage url where you saved or updated your consent preferences
- The approximate location of the user that saved their consent preference
