HKETO Berlin’s culture and film festival highlights
This year, Hong Kong is embracing the liveliness of the Rabbit as we open up ourselves once again after three full years of pandemic restrictions. HKETO Berlin is delighted to organise the festive Chinese New Year celebrations again as well as other cultural events to reconnect with its community in Central and Eastern Europe.
Chinese New Year Celebrations
Chinese New Year reception held in Berlin, Germany on 13 February 2023.
We were particularly pleased to celebrate the new year of the Rabbit with local contacts in Warsaw (7 February), Berlin (13 February), Budapest (16 February), Zurich (22 February), Ljubljana (23 February), Bratislava (1 March), Vienna (2 March) and Prague (9 March). The receptions brought together representatives from government, political, business and cultural sectors, whom we had the chance to furnish with the latest updates about Hong Kong. We also invited them to experience the East-meets-West culture in Hong Kong through the recently launched “Hello Hong Kong” campaign. In addition, Hong Kong music talents were invited to perform classical and modern pieces at the receptions, showcasing Hong Kong’s diverse music scene. In total, some 1 300 guests attended the receptions.
